Admissions Department
The Admissions Department at The Specialty Hospital of Washington - Hadley is happy to assist you with making a referral for admission to our facility. They can be reached Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at (202) 574-5727
Once a referral is made, we will send out one of our Clinical Liaisons to perform a face-to-face assessment and determine if the patient is appropriate for admission to our Hospital or Nursing Center.
You can also call our Case Management Department 202-574-5782 to schedule a tour of our facility. We are able to arrange for tours on weekends and after normal office hours if needed.
EXCEPTION TO THE DISCRIMINATION ACT
The Specialty Hospital of Washington-Hadley is a long term acute care hospital. The minimum age patient we can treat is 18.We do not treat patients under the age of 18 because we do not have a pediatric unit,
pediatric trained physicians on staff, and we are not licensed or approved for pediatric services.Any referrals we may receive for patients under the age of 18 will be referred to the appropriate healthcare facility in our area. |
